Meet the Team

Leanne joined Priory in 1998 having worked previously in the leisure and import sectors in accounting roles.  She is responsible for the financial administration of the company and enjoys fulfilling the wide scope of tasks her position warrants.

Leanne loves sport and music and can often be found on a local tennis court playing for her team, which is also based in Wymondham.  She lives locally with her Husband and two very active children.

Lucy joined Priory in 2005 with 6 years experience in the Insurance Industry having worked for Aviva, Alan Boswells and Uttings Insurance Brokers. Lucy joined Priory as a Personal Lines Account Handler and more recently carries out the role of Personal Lines and Commercial Account Handler, specialising in new business.   

Out of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with friends and family, holidaying and taking part in Body Combat and Zumba classes. 

One of Priory’s long standing recruits, Melissa joined the team back in 1992 as a junior and has worked in various areas within the business since. Melissa is one of our Personal Lines Account Handlers specialising in personal lines renewals.  

Out of work, Melissa follows Ipswich Town football team.  She also relaxes by doing a spot of gardening, reading a book or watching a film.  

David joined Priory in Thetford in 2001, taking on his first role in insurance as a Personal Lines Account Handler before moving over to the Commercial Team in 2006.  In David’s role as Commercial Account Handler, he deals with all genres of commercial insurance.  

David’s spare time is mostly spent with his young family.  He does also enjoy an active social life and has a passion for live music.  

Our longest standing member of Priory, Jon joined in 1978 as an office junior.  Since that time he has progressed through the ranks becoming Office Manager as well as Company Director in 2002.

Jon is a keen sportsman both on and off the pitch previously having played cricket for Old Buckenham and the Norfolk over 50’s, but more recently enjoys watching a match at Norwich City FC.  

Mark joined Priory in 1990 as an office junior. In 1993, as the company expanded, he opened and became manager of our Norwich branch. This enabled him to gather experience in all areas of the business. He was appointed Director in 2002 and Managing Director in 2008. He is very much actively involved with the day to day running of the business with a hands on approach.

Away from the office, Mark is a football coach and enjoys spending time with his active family.       

Sarah joined Priory in 2016, having previously spent 16 years working at Marsh in an accounting role.Sarah works in our finance department where she is in charge of Insurer accounts and ensuring client’s instalments are up to date, amongst other responsibilities her role entails.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children as well as cooking and getting together with family and friends.

Courtney joined Priory as a Trainee Personal Lines Advisor back in February 2018.

She is now our Personal Lines Supervisor and holds the Cert CII qualification. Her role sees her supervise the Personal Lines team and manage the Travel Insurance department.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, holidays and spending time with friends and family.

George is Priory’s newest and youngest member of staff, having joined the team in September 2019.

In the office, George is learning all areas of personal lines insurance but has a particular interest in wheel based insurances.

Away from the office, George plays football to a high standard for Fakenham Town, enjoys socialising with his friends and holidays abroad.
