In 2024, Priory Insurance Brokers joined Alan Boswell Group. As one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the UK, with eight offices and more than 420 members of staff, Alan Boswell Group is ideally placed to ensure you and your business receive expert advice whenever you need it.

Our journey
Priory Insurance Brokers was founded in 1973 by Trevor Whitmore, who commenced business in a small office in King Street, Thetford, Norfolk.
Mark Whitmore joined the company in 1990 and, after heading the Personal Lines & Special Risks Division as Director, became Managing Director in 2009.
In 2006, Priory decided to concentrate its business activities under one roof and undertook the major expansion of its centrally located offices in Wymondham.
In 2024, Priory Insurance Brokers joined Alan Boswell Group.
