At Priory Insurance, we’ve been safeguarding what matters most to our clients for over 50 years. As an independent, family-run business, we pride ourselves on providing tailored insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and businesses across the UK.
Our journey
Priory Insurance Brokers was founded in 1973 by Trevor Whitmore, who commenced business in a small office in King Street, Thetford, Norfolk.
Mark Whitmore joined the company in 1990 and, after heading the Personal Lines & Special Risks Division as Director, became Managing Director in 2009.
In 2006, Priory decided to concentrate its business activities under one roof and undertook the major expansion of its centrally located offices in Wymondham.
In 2024, Priory Insurance Brokers joined Alan Boswell Group.
